She handled everything like a trooper. . . shooting in the intense heat, attempting her own stunts and all the time having a blast,” said Wisin. “The video is action-packed, has Acapulco in the backdrop and of course the beautiful and incomparable JLo. We hope all of our fans love this video as much as we do,” added Yandel.
“Follow the Leader” was written by Wisin & Yandel, Jennifer Lopez and the Bloodline Sisters and produced by Jonas Saeed & Niclas Kings. It was recorded in Los Angeles and Puerto Rico. DJ Khaled Thankful For Jail?
DJ Khaled spoke about his beginnings and struggles prior to becoming one of the most recognized DJs in hip hop. In a recent interview, the Miami-based star revisited his homeless days, working multiple jobs and how one event in his young adulthood helped him to refocus his energy:
Going to jail.
“I used to go to jail every weekend in Orlando,” he recalls. “I had a court date in Orlando–flew [in] from New Orleans. I didn’t know I was gonna go to jail when I went to court. You don’t expect that. You go to court thinking it’s going to be another fine, go to school. But the judge was like, ‘You not learning your lesson. You keep driving.’ It woke me up. I’m glad it happened. The day I got out is the day I moved to Miami.”
There it is… FOCUS!!!
The Game On Dr. Dre & Rick Ross
Game shared his thoughts on legendary hip hop producer Dr. Dre working with Maybach Music Group superstar Rick Ross. The pairing is somewhat surprising, considering Dr. Dre has long been a mentor and affiliate of hip hop superstar 50 Cent and Ross is one of Fiddy’s most high-profile rivals.
“I don’t know, that’s kinda crazy,” Game told MTV News “I think Dre knows what he’s doin’,” Game continued. “Ross, his career just hit a launchpad and then went to the moon, so I think it would be a dope collaboration. I would love to hear Rick Ross over Dr. Dre’s production.”
“I can’t speak too much for 50 Cent or Dre’s intentions, but yeah, I don’t know,” he said.
Can’t wait to hear… But, Oh wait a minute… It’s on Detox…
I guess we’ll never hear it…lol
Swizz Beatz Prepping Alicia Keys Album
Superproducer Swizz Beatz has been working with his wife, superstar Alicia Keys, on her upcoming fifth album. The as-of-yet untitled project will be Keys’ first project since getting married and becoming a mother, and Swizz promises greatness from the Grammy winner.
“She’s working on a timeless piece,” Swizz told Angie Martinez.
“The topics that she’s speaking about are super deep and from the heart, and to me what music has been missing,” Swizz shared. “It’s the thing that makes us special as an artist. I tell her, ‘Yo, I’m proud of you because you’re making timeless pieces.’ “
She’s fine tuning the project and a release could come soon. “It’s showtime,” he says. “She’s moving faster than people think. She’s tightening the bolts.”
Well personally being a fan of Alicia Keys… I can’t wait to hear what they’re putting together. Should be exciting!!

According to reports, the Queens native owes approximately $6 million in back taxes.
Travie McCoy Doesn’t Miss Katy Perry!
Alt-rapper Travie McCoy isn’t that concerned with the fact that his ex-girlfriend, pop star Katy Perry, is back on the market following her divorce from actor Russell Brand. The Gym Class Heroes frontman dismissed any idea that the two would be getting back together and made it clear he’s in a different place in his life.
“Katy Perry was almost five years ago. Life has moved on to say the least,” McCoy says. “I’ve not been in touch to be honest with you and I don’t mean that in a malicious way. That situation was what it was and I have definitely moved on. When was the last time you spoke to your ex of five years?”
“It wasn’t really nasty between Katy and I but I just choose to, kind of, you know, keep it moving, so to speak,” he added.
But you know he probably be texting Katy on them late night booty calls…lol
“Young, Wild and Free” Originally was meant to have Mac Miller on it Not Snoop!!!
What up people’s … Pa’ los que no sabian… La cancion “Young, Wild, And Free” originalmente iba a ser grabada con Wiz Khalifa y Mac Miller… Si escuchas la letra en los versos de Wiz… He’s talking to Mac Miller….
Wiz never took the time to re-record his vocals. He kept the same vocals and didn’t change the lyrics so he could be talking to Snoop and not Mac….
“Uh, and now I don’t even care
Long as me and my team in here
There’s gon’ be some weed in the air
Tell ‘em Mac-”
Being what it may be… it’s still a cool record… Big ups to Snoop for not making a big deal about it!!
OooooooEeeeeee!!!!
1,000,000 Hoodie March For Trayvon Martin
Rap stars like Wyclef Jean, ?uestlove of the Roots and Big Boi have spoken up about the tragedy already, and now Young Jeezy is the latest to speak out about the disheartening case.
“I feel very deeply as a community leader and as a product of my culture,” Jeezy told MTV News. “I feel like we all got to get together and stop this, ’cause I have a son his age and I just feel like that could’ve been either of our children.
“This is real, I understand that there are a lot of things goin’ on in the world and times are hard for everybody right now, but when you start having adults kill children for any reason, then we’re on our way to something we don’t want to be at,” the Snowman continued. “The minute we accept that, we stand for nothing.”
Much like Jeezy’s reaction, the heartfelt sentiments have been pouring in from all over the country, including out of the White House.
“Obviously, this is a tragedy. I can only imagine what these parents are going through,” President Barack Obama told reporters during a press conference addressing a separate matter on Friday morning (March 23). “When I think about this boy, I think about my own kids. You know, if I had a son, he’d look like Trayvon. I think they are right to expect that all of us as Americans are going to take this with the seriousness it deserves, and we are going to get to the bottom of exactly what happened.”
According to reports, Martin was walking home from a 7-11 store in the Sanford section of Florida, when a community watchman named George Zimmerman called the police and warned them about the teen looking “suspicious” in his hoodie. Zimmerman told police that he was going to follow Martin, but police instructed him not to. When cops did show up at the scene, however, Zimmerman had shot Martin dead in a claim of self-defense. Martin did not have a weapon on him. Citizens of Florida are protected under the controversial “Stand Your Ground” statute, which allows Floridians to shoot their guns if threatened.
The Miami Heat basketball team showed their support on Friday as well, as the entire squad donned hoodies in tribute of Martin. Heat superstar LeBron James even tweeted, “#WeAreTrayvonMartin #Hoodies #Stereotyped #WeWantJustice.”
Amidst the heated reaction and media storm, Sanford Police Department Chief Bill Lee announced on Thursday (March 22) that he will temporarily be stepping down. This came after a throng of protesters, including Martin’s parents and civil rights activist Rev. Al Sharpton, turned out for a ‘Million Hoodie March’ in the Union Square section of New York City on Wednesday (March 21).
