Technology brought 2pac back to life in the form of a hologram, this past weekend at Coachella’s Music’s festival. If you were standing in the crowd looking up to the stage, you wouldn’t have been able to tell the difference between the real 2pac and the hologram 2pac. I must say, they pulled this one off pretty good! Check out the video so you can see what I mean!

RIP TREYVON MARTIN 17 YEAR BLACK KID FROM FLORIDA THAT GOT KILLED BY A NEIGHBORHOOD WATCHMAN
This is a story that has been on the news all week, and I didn’t want to speak on it until more information became available. The kid’s name is Treyvon Martin, a 17 year-old black kid from Florida that got killed by George Zimmerman, a neighborhood watch guy who claims that Treyvon looked suspicious. Because of this, Zimmerman confronted the kid and got into a fight with him. According to one of the witnesses, someone was heard screaming for help, followed by the sound of a gun shot, and immediately the screaming was silenced. The local police have not arrested the guy, saying they don’t have enough evidence to charge him because he’s claiming self defense, thus turning the case over to the state attorney. Hopefully this case is solved and justice is served.

TELEMUNDO & MUN2 TO AIR LIVE THE PRE-OLYMPIC SOCCER GAMES VIA @DJEDDIEONE
Telemundo & Mun2 will air the pre-olympic games that will determine who goes to the Olympic games in Soccer. Kicking it off with the games between El Salvador and Canada on Thursday, March 22 at 6:30pm ET, 3:30pm PT, 5:30pm CT on Mun2. And on Friday, March 23, Telemundo will air its first game of the tournament with Mexico vs. Trinidad and Tobago at 11:30pm ET, 8:30pm PT and 10:30pm CT. A complete schedule of games is provided below.

BREAKING NEWS-Tim Tebow just got traded to the NY Jets along with a 7th round pick from the Broncos. The Broncos will get a 4th & 6th round pick from the Jets, but not so fast! The NFL Network is reporting that there is a clause on Tebow’s contract that says the Jets might have to pay Denver an extra 5 MILLION dollars that may void the trade period if the Jets say no. Now if this trade happens, where does this leave Mark Sanchez? Will Tebow come in to be a back-up or to compete for the starting job? We’ll see what happens!

Yesterday at around 6pm I got a phone call from Tony, a Latino listener, who wanted to thank a guy, by the name of Mike Flores, for giving him a hand at the Ralphs Market in Reseda . Tony was in line waiting to pay for his food that he had just gotten for his 3 kids, but unfortunately his debit card was declined. Well it so happens that Mike was behind him in line and told him not to worry about it and that he was going to pay for his food. Not only did Mike pay for Tony’s food but he bought him $200 worth of groceries for him and his family.
And what a small world! Someone that knows Mike, the guy that bought Tony the groceries, called him and told him he had heard his name on the Latino 96.3 with me. So Mike decided to call in and tell us the story on how he had helped this guy. I thought that it was a good gesture from both-Tony for calling in and thanking Mike and Mike for calling in and doing the same and thanking Tony back for being grateful. It was nice to be able to connect these guys back together again, through the radio on Latino 96.3. What a story right?

WAS THE DEREK FISHER TRADE GOOD OR BAD FOR THE LAKERS? VIA @DJEDDIEONE
So the Lakers decided to trade Derek Fisher and some people are happy about this decision while others just aren’t. In return, the Lakers are getting a forward from the Houston Rockets. Is it a good or bad trade? Only time will tell! Let’s see how this turns out, and in the mean while all we can do is thank Derek Fisher for all the clutch shots he made for the Lakers!
